A Farm Vacation Bed and Breakfast Where city people go country. "A working farm and ranch raising buffalo, and cattle; growing wheat, corn and soybeans."

The Home, Accommodations and Other Amenities
A 1956 ranch style home with original hardwood floors displays a collection of family antiques and country collectibles. Cheery sunflowers are a favorite of Darla's and compliment the country decor. The large dining room table can be set for an intimate meal for twp or accommodate a dinner for up to 20 seated and served family style. From the living room you can view a sunrise on the open prairie, catch a glimpse of a pheasant strutting across the lawn, or possibly a cottontail having a meal in Darla's garden. As a guest you may choose between a bedroom with a queen bed and futon couch, or a room with a double bed. The two bedrooms share a full bath decorated with a pheasant decor and a half bath brightened with sunflowers. Robes are provided and a door can be closed to make the bedroom and bath area private from the rest of the house. A jacuzzi in the sun room is available for guests to enjoy relaxing in the hot tub, lose ones self in a favorite book in the rocking chair or enjoy the sunshine and view of the trees outside.

Meals For your convenience, Possibility Farm offers three meals a day with your overnight stay. There is a delightful small town café in Carpenter providing breakfast and the noon meal. Other dining is 30 miles away. Meals made from scratch are the norm at Possibility Farm Bed and Breakfast. Carmel rolls, or sticky buns as Dan from Taste of the Midwest, calls them, make a great breakfast treat. Guests can choose for breakfast from a menu which includes waffles, pancakes, baked oatmeal and a variety of egg dishes. Juice, fruit and other baked goods are also added to the menu. Since buffalo/bison is raised on the farm for meat, the healthy red meat is the entree of lunch and evening meals complimented by other side dishes. Noon and evening meals are served upon request or may be included in an offered package. Whether cooking for two guests or a table full of 8 or more hunters, Darla enjoys tempting the palate and making sure no one leaves the table hungry.
